IDEA
To create my animated GIF I first created the different layers I was planning on using which included the liquid moving down and the rotations of the splashes before I used Photoshops 'Timeline' and added a new layer each time. The timeline was perfect to use as I as able to create the moving poster without any troubles and make it as smooth as possible.

I wanted to reuse these smooth, straight forward posters and create something with movement to bring it to life and make it more playful and entertaining.
The concept of my posters I wanted to create the block, coloured liquid to slowly move down as if something was drinking out of it, this also would reveal what type of milk it was. I also wanted to include more than that and included the subtle movements, such as; the cow's eyes in the logo blink and the liquid splashes jerk at the end, to make the viewer have to watch it over again to notice. |
I experimented with the different timings until I was satisfied with mix between 0.1 secs and 0.2, This is because in some areas at the end I wanted the audience to see the splashes rotate without the GIF ending so suddenly and show it's the end of the GIF. I also multiplied the layers to create a longer lasting video before uploading it to Youtube, this was due to it being easily accessible.
